Letter of Frey Domingo del Rosario (by birth an Irishman, of the name of O'Daly) in Lisbon to the Duke of Ormond saying he has presented Ormond's request to both Queens (of Portugal) and that he is sending "twoe leetle barels of aranges". Dec. 7, 1661.

Letter of Alfonso, King of Portugal to Charles II., asking for a post in England for Mr John Roche, an Irish gentleman, who for some years had assisted Frey Domingo del Rosario (O'Daly), elected Bishop of Cimbre. He had promised Roche in 1657 a place in the service of the Infanta Catherine when she married. March 24, 1662.
