Commission from the Lord Deputy and Council to the Archbp. of Armagh, the Bp. of Meath, Sir R. Dillon and Sir T. Le Strange to inquire into the rebellion of the Burkes, Sir M. O'Flaherty and Sir Brien O'Rourke and deal with them for pacification. They are to have the assistance of R. Fowle, Provost Marshal of Connaught and R. French merchant of Galway. May 10, 1589.
