Diary No.3. The High Sheriff of the County "openly read the books of propositions for Ireland, and a letter from the Lord Keeper and Mr. Speaker, touching the promotings and speedings of that service", and moved the Corporation to subscribe what they would doe therein. March 28, 1642.
