Letter of John Daniell to Sir R. Cecil, saying he can refute a book reported to be in hand to prove that Sir W. Fitzwilliams forced Tyrone to rebel through hard dealing. Daniell can witness that E. McGawrane, Primate of Ardmach, M. O'Huggin, Archbp. of Tuam and J. O'Healie, priest were suitors to the Pope and Spain for forces and supplies, two years before Tyrone rebelled. Dec. 1, 1599.
