Letter of John Danyell to Sir R. Cecil, concerning Capt. W. Laplin and Lt. G. Caffoyr, who have gone to Ireland, probably to join Tyrone. Capt. Laplin served in France and Caffoyr under Capt. Eustace in the Low Countries in Sir W. Stanley's regiment. Requests that Donnogh McCarthie be released from prison. Aug. 12, 1598.
