Letter of C. Mundt in Strasbourg to Sir W. Cecil, in which he says the Cardinal of Lorraine has recounted to the Empire a new device concerning the redemption of Ireland. Ireland was only held by England as a pledge for a debt of 100,000 crowns. Debt could be paid and Ireland restored to Scotland. Dec. 28, 1563.
