Pass by James Boyle, Provost of Irvine to enable "Peter Wallace" (alias for Sir P. Hume of Polwarth) and James Scott, to go to Ireland, dated Aug. 19, 1685. Sir Patrick Hume seems to have gone to Dublin and thence to Bordeaux.
