Codex Claromontanus. The four Gospels in Latin. St. Matthew in Old Latin, the other three Gospels Vulgate text. Written in uncial script and said to be probably the oldest codex with Irish decoration 5th or 6th c.
Codex Epternacensis. The Gospels of Willibrord. Written in insular semi-uncial, with Irish ornamentation. The codex came from St. Willibrord's monastery at Echternach 8th c. (?).
