Correspondence and papers of Sir Richard Hussey Vivian, as Commander of the forces in Ireland, mainly copies of letters and printed general orders, principally concerning the role of the Army in quelling disturbances, tithes, etc. and including a copy of a letter (8 Apr. 1833) from Vivian to Sir Edward Blakeney, ordering him to march into Kilkenny to put down disturbances there, 1831-1835.
