The Orrery papers, mainly consisting of correspondence carried on by the 5th Earl of Orrery with literary celebrities of the day.

• Orrery correspondence, containing copies of letters to and from the 4th and 5th Earls of Orrery, their family and friends, the volumes from which the published correspondence was selected. The volumes contain copies of poems, essays, and include letters to Pope, Swift, etc. and much unpublished material. Seven volumes, 1653-1757, but mostly 1720-57.
• Editor's gossip: re copies of "Remarks on the Life and Writings of Dr. Jonathan Swift ... in letters from John, Earl of Orrery, to his son".

• Copies of the verses sent to Dean Swift on his birthday (Nov. 30, 1732) by the Earl of Orrery and by Dr. Delany.
• The Earl of Orrery's own copy of his "Remarks on the life and writings of Swift", interleaved and with copious notes in the Earl's hand on every page, 1751.
• Ninety one autograph letters to John Boyle, 5th Earl of Cork and Orrery, written by his wife Margaret (formerly Miss Hamilton of Tyrone), on private and social affairs, with many references to Pope, Swift, etc., 1738-45.
