• Indenture between Henry VIII., Anne St. Leger, Margaret Boleyn, Visct. Rochford and Sir G. St. Leger and Sir Piers Butler and his son James concerning the Earldom of Ormonde and the Ormonde estates Feb. 18, 1528.
• Inspeximus dated June 3, 1538, of an indenture by which Thomas (Boleyn) Earl of Ormonde grants to Sir Piers Butler, for 4 years, certain lands in Counties Kilkenny, Tipperary, etc., July 9, 1528.
• The letters patent of the Earl of Ormonde and Margaret his wife, (1526). The letters patent of Peter Butler Earl of Ossory and James Butler Lord Treasurer of Ireland for certain lands granted by the King, (1537?).
• Deed supporting the right of Piers Butler to the Earldom of Ormonde against Sir Thomas Boleyn, Visct. Rocheford and Sir George St. Leger, c.1525.
• The creation of Pierce Butler Earl of Ossory, 1527 (1528). Creation of Con Oneale Earl of Tyrone, 1542.
